After hearing about HR Transformation from the beginning of her career and realizing that the narrative hasn’t changed in more than 20 years, Erika set out to change the course. Her unique HR Transformation framework uses a "customer value" approach that (1) defines employees, managers and leaders as customers of HR, (2) gathers unfiltered feedback to understand each group's unique needs and (3) re-designs HR service models, based on customer input, to deliver more specialized, higher quality support that recognizes and caters to the different needs of each customer segment. Erika’s professional career has taken her around the globe and back again. Over the years, she’s survived multiple corporate transformations - with her humor and fashion sense intact - and is currently living in upstate New York with her husband (and best friend) Sean Oakey, along with their two fur babies, Annie Oakey and Carrie Oakey.
